Let me preface this review by saying that I have wickedly dry, KP, absurdly sensitive skin that reacts to seemingly everything. I can use no essential oils, most cleansers leave my face red, chapped, and irritated, and even sugarcane squalene irritates my skin. I had given up on wearing mineral sunscreen because it usually irritated my skin and I could never get it off at the end of the day (resulting in even more red, irritated skin). Most cleansing balms (ugh, Take off the Day gave me hives) and oil cleansers that turn milky give me a terrible red rash.

So, when I say this oil cleanser is AMAZING, it truly is astounding. I massage it into my dry skin and it melts off my tinted mineral sunscreen. I then wipe it off with a clean warm, wet washcloth. My skin is soothed, soft, and so, so happy and comfortable. Honestly, most of the time I don’t follow up with another cleanser (sadly, I can’t use the Bee-och due to the essential oils), but I have very rough, dry skin not prone to acne. If I do use a second cleanser, I immediately follow it up with the Night Elixer and I wake up in the morning with soft, quiet skin. I am 53 and for the first time in my life, my face is comfortable. Pro-Tip: For extra dry skin or redness associated with inflammation or rosacea, skip the second soap cleansing step every other day.
